ROBI x DARA EKIMOVA – AKO SE OBADISH (OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO)

“Ako Se Obadish” became a hit on TikTok and streaming before the video even dropped—audiences were waiting. The responsibility to deliver a visual that matched the hype fell to us, and we embraced it.

We built a clean, cinematic world that lets the song and the artists’ chemistry lead: minimalist sets, controlled beauty lighting, and a restrained color language that feels modern and intimate. The goal was a timeless performance piece—elegant, emotional, and unmistakably premium—that fans would replay and share.

Approach

Creative: A performance‑driven concept centered on proximity and tension—two artists, one story. Split‑screen moments and mirrored blocking underline distance vs. connection, while a plexiglass motif and a single shaft of light recur as visual anchors.
Cinematography: Primarily static or slow, one‑direction moves for elegance; close‑ups with soft beauty light and gentle haze; black/white wall setups for contrast and focus on expression.
Production: One‑day studio shoot with tightly planned setups based on a detailed storyboard and schedule. We dialed each scene for pacing in the edit—apartment mood, black wall beauty, plexiglass texture, and the wall “angle” tableau.
Post: Precise rhythm edits to serve the vocal interplay; refined skin tones and highlight control for a high‑end finish.

Challenge

The single was already viral—expectations were sky‑high. We had to create something visually striking without over‑styling or relying on VFX. The solution: a minimalist, design‑first approach where light, composition, and performance carry the emotion. Many viewers asked if we used green screen; in reality, it’s carefully lit practical sets—proof that craft beats spectacle.
