We created the launch film for Mediterranea Bulgaria’s new fragrance, Alien Love, in collaboration with Silvia Àmica. The brief was to capture a romantic, otherworldly essence—elegant, feminine, and memorable—while keeping the message clear and premium for paid and organic distribution. We built a studio‑driven visual world with controlled lighting, expressive performance, and a poetic voice‑over to carry the narrative beyond a typical product spot.
Creative: A modern beauty narrative that blends sensual movement with a refined, bohemian aesthetic. The film centers on a single lead whose presence guides the story from curiosity to allure, mirroring the arc of discovering a new scent.
Cinematography: Studio lighting sculpted for depth and skin tone perfection; close framings for intimacy paired with selective wides for elegance. Motion cues are subtle and intentional to let the fragrance “breathe.”
Production: Minimalist set design to keep focus on the talent and bottle; wardrobe and styling curated for texture and movement to complement light play.
Post: Clean, polished edit with soft transitions; color grade that leans into warm highlights and deep shadows; voice‑over layering to underline the brand’s romantic tone.
Perfume ads must communicate feeling without over‑explaining. We solved this with a performance‑first direction, a restrained color language, and voice‑over lines that suggest a story rather than tell it outright—leaving room for the viewer’s imagination.
